I recently had my laptop stolen from a bar in Huddersfield, which was nothing short of devastating since it contained all of my degree work, photos (since my first digital camera over six years ago), music, contacts, emails (since forever) and freelance work. Was it backed up? Go on you know you want to say it, and the answer is inevitably no. A lesson to be learnt here perhaps?

As a result I’ve had to purchase a new laptop and decided that as a graduate/young professional moving into the creative industries, it was time to up-the-anti and go for the Macbook pro. It’s very nice
